The physicians at New England Dermatology & Laser Center have combined their expertise and more than a decade of laser experience to establish a state-of-the-art laser center for the treatment of cosmetic problems and skin diseases. LASER SURGERY

There are several types of lasers, each capable of treating different problems. Some of the conditions we are able to treat with lasers include:

• Hair removal
• "Broken" facial capillaries
• "Liver" spots (age spots)
• Red or brown spots
• Tattoos
• Spider leg veins
• Facial lines and wrinkles
• Acne, chickenpox, and surgical scars
• Birthmarks
• Psoriasis

Treatment varies according to individual needs and depends on the size, color, and type of lesion. Laser procedures can be performed relatively painlessly in most instances. Complete removal or significant improvement in the appearance of small spots may be accomplished in one treatment session. Larger, darker, or more numerous lesions and tattoos generally require multiple treatments.

EXPENSE

The cost of laser surgery depends on the size and number of lesions treated, the length of time the laser is used, and the number of treatments required. No assurances can be given that your expectations will be fulfilled but every effort will be made to do so. Unfortunately, the outcome of treatment cannot be guaranteed. Customarily, cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance.
